Classroom Libraries
Reading is a huge part of learning. One of the jobs of a teacher is to provide their students with the proper texts. This means texts they can read but can challenge them at the same time. A classroom library should include a variety of different texts of different genres, fiction, non-fiction, and informational. The library should be organized by reading level, category, and topic. The library should look visually appealing and there should be a comfortable area for students to be able to sit and read at their pleasure! I have included virtual libraries of some books I have found that students love! Those are listed under the Children's Text link.
I have also included texts that I have learned from and read throughout my journey in becoming a teacher. I have found these books very useful and helpful during my educational career. These are listed under the Learning Texts link.
